In between moments of belting out ‘Rosalita’ and sipping cocktails, Don and Jessica would sway to the music every chance they had. The bridal party was just the maid or honor, and the best man which I thought was very cool. Have I told you yet how much I love the freedom of an outdoor wedding?! It’s amazing to be able to walk around the couple and get every angle.ĭon and Jessica really went out of their way to make the day wonderfully intimate and cozy. Some people think a ‘first look’ may take away from the actual moment…I beg to differ. Remember those days…making your own schedule? They say Montauk is ‘the end’…but this…this…is just the beginning. It was there while surrounded by 60 of their closest friends and family they would say their vows and celebrate one of life’s happiest moments…perfectly. ![]() Tucked away in a cozy secluded spot in Montauk was a garden of dreams…as Springsteen would say…a ‘secret garden’. The location for their Long Island wedding celebration was just as cute as it’s name, “Harvest”. It was a love that you could actually see from across the room. She sprang from her chair – grabbing a pen and paper, and borrowed some words from Bruce to use in her vows.ĭon grinned from ear to ear when he heard the vows…annnd truth be told any time he would look in Jessica’s direction through out the day. Jessica’s eyes lit up – like the melody was recalling a memory. She explained to me that she had used the garden flower bouquet the night before as a microphone while belting out Springsteen.Īs her make-up was being applied, the ipod hummed familiar music. Jessica said the flowers might be a wee bit wilted, and quickly apologized when she saw me lift my camera to take a picture of them.
